I like dating black girls. I’m a white guy and every once in a while I like to spice things up a bit. BlackPeopleMeet is one of the interracial and black dating sites that I’ve become a member of. I’m not currently a member but felt the need to share my experience just like the rest of the Blackpeoplemeet reviews. I’ll give you all the details and more, don’t you worry.
I’ll start by saying that BlackPeopleMeet.com, in case the name isn’t obvious enough, is a dating site where singles can hook up or fall in love with local black single people. I really like niche sites like this which are targeted to certain types of people. I like them because it helps narrow down your dating choices to exactly who you want (from a characteristics perspective). While it makes a good effort to be an effective dating site, they just rely too much on unacceptable practices in order to make themselves appear bigger than they are. Which makes this subscription not worth the price of the membership. At least that’s my perspective on things…
Find Out What BlackPeopleMeet Does When You Join
BlackPeopleMeet is a promising dating site from the moment you visit the site. An introduction video with high production value is a good sign that it will be a high-quality site. The navigation is sleek and beautiful as you click through to create your free profile. Everything looks good until you get on the site and read their terms and conditions.
It states, in a clever way, each of the scamming practices they use to make their site appear better than it is. This is where they tell you that, upon signing up, you agree that your profile can be repurposed on other sites even if you are not using the service. You will also agree to receive messages communications and that employees of the company create test profiles. You should always read this section before submitting your personal information on any dating site. Actually, that goes for submitting your information to any website, at any time, period.
Another snippet of info that I came across which shows some of the site’s scam tactics is the company that owns the website. The site is owned by People Media Inc. and they also own SeniorPeopleMeet.com, Ourtime.com, and SingleParentMeet.com and more. People Media is a division of Match.com, but it does not seem like the network treats this site with respect and to the standards that Match typically holds. All these sites are known to share the same types of terms and conditions. Unfortunately, you never know if you are interacting with a real person, a computer messaging system or an employee from the website. BlackPeopleMeet might be better than a lot of bad dating sites out there, but they still run an online scam and it’s hard to trust any communication you get from the site.
This site allows you to join for free. You can create a user profile, receive messages and even send flirts to people. However, you cannot answer these messages unless you pay for a premium membership. The good news is that the membership fees are less than a lot of dating sites, but you get what you pay for. Most of the messages turn out to be false communications and lead nowhere. If they would discontinue the scamming practices on this site, they might start to grow in a real way, but for now, there are just too much that is fake to warrant paying a recurring monthly membership fee.
Whether or not you are able to get the number of a lovely black girl in your area and talk to her on the phone is really a crap shoot on this site. You end up spending most of your time trying to figure out which message is real and which one is fake so you may or may not get to the point of a phone call. You must figure out if the price of membership being auto billed every month is worth it. I say likely not but that’s just my opinion.
You could possibly find a match on BlackPeopleMeet that results in a first date, but it might be a frustrating process to get there. The better you are at recognizing that one is nothing but a loss lead, the better off you will be. There are plenty of niche dating sites (especially those connecting people for a black fling) out there that are legit that do not practice typical fraudulent practices that are done on this site. You would be much better off going to one of those or just checking out these sites on this page instead.
Canceling Your Membership
Another decent thing about BlackPeopleMeet is that they make it easy to cancel and even delete your profile. A lot of scam sites don’t do that. To cancel your automatic renewal so your account will no longer be charged; click on your username to access your settings. Click on My Account in the drop down menu. Look for Account Status and click on View Account Status. Then click More Account Status Changes then Remove Automatic Renewal. To remove your profile; click the Remove My Profile link under More Account Status Changes.

Conclusion: I Can’t Recommend Joining BlackPeopleMeet. It’s Just Not That Good. I’m Sorry.
BlackPeopleMeet has a lot of potential, but not enough to suggest joining. A money spent is wasted. The site looks good and it’s fun to use, but all that doesn’t mean much when you have to try so hard to verify users authenticity. I just don’t trust the people that use the site. Sorry, I’m not sorry!
